2026 Best in Building Award Categories
The 2026 Best in Building Awards entry period opens Monday, August 3 at noon and closes September 30, 2026.
We listened to your feedback. This year, the Best in Building Awards Committee carefully reviewed and streamlined the awards lineup to create a more focused program that is easier to navigate.
Use the eligibility chart and award lists below to identify the projects, designs and campaigns you may want to enter. If your submission will require professional photography, now is the time to schedule your photographer.
Find Your Eligible Categories
The awards are organized into six categories based on who you are and what you do. Each CRBRA membership type—builder, remodeler and associate—is eligible to enter four categories.

How to Submit an Entry
The entry platform uses a series of dropdown menus to guide you to the correct award:
Select the award category available to your membership type.
Select the specific award you want to enter.
If applicable, select the appropriate price or square-footage range for your project.
For example: You're a remodeler who wants to submit an entry for Best Kitchen Remodel on a project that cost $130,000.

Dropdown 3: Best Kitchen Remodel $125,000+
The platform also allows you to:
Upload high-resolution supporting images
Save time by using information from your user profile
Clone a submission when entering the same project in multiple awards
Invite colleagues to collaborate on an entry
Pay entry fees when you submit
Pricing and Deadlines
Early-bird: August 3–17 | $50 per entry
On-time: August 18–September 15 | $65 per entry
Last minute: September 16–30 | $75 per entry
